Chocolate Chip Cake



2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup sour cream

Filling:

1 8oz pkg of cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
one 6oz pkg chocolate chips (a little more than 1/2 cup)

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 10 inch tube pan and set aside. For the cake, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cream together the butter and sugar until light. Beat in eggs and then vanilla. stir in sour cream and then the dry ingredients. For the filling, beat the cream cheese and sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir in the chocolate chips. Spoon half the batter into the pan, add filling, top with the remaining batter. Bake for one hour.
